THINGS TO DO

CLOSEST RESTAURANTS

The closest place for breakfast, dinner or a bar, is the totally refurbished Red South Beach Hotel, literally next door. There is also an ATM machine there and you can book your tours or rent your car from there as well.

Of course, there’s breakfast or dinner at the Palm, where you can also go for your spa treatments. One block away is the brand new amazing Edition. And we now have a Starbucks just a couple of blocks away.

SWIMMING POOL

And for a swimming pool, there is the FLAMINGO Park, in South Beach (just 1 mile from the condo)

The pool there is a  beautifully landscaped state-of-the-art aquatic facility, which  features two separate pool areas. The main pool features a lap pool (8 lanes) that are aerated in the summer and heated in the winter to maintain an 82 – 84 degree temperature. The water playground is a zero to 15 inch depth interactive/play pool. The aquatic facility offers locker rooms with showers, lounge chairs and sunbrellas.

AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Heading downtown, just three blocks on Collins, is a liquor store, travel agency, Spanish supermarket, and restaurants.  At  Tropical Beach Cafe,  right past the Edition you can get fabulous mango shakes great fresh squeezed orange juice and cuban coffee. Breakfast  is just ok but very very reasonable and you can eat outdoors. At 23rd and Collins hop a bus that will take you all around South Beach for free. They call it a trolley.

The nearest Walgreens is at 21st and Collins.

COLLINS BEACH AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

SOUTH BEACH

A 10-15 minute walk on the boardwalk to Lincoln Road, the heart of South Beach. Free trolleys run from 23rd Street to all of South Beach. Nothing in South Beach is more than a 15 minute Uber ride away.

GETTING HERE AND PARKING:

Parking is very difficult here.  We may be able to make available to you a parking pass for $15 per day that allows you to park below Collins, from 26th- 43rd Street without paying for meters. It is on a first come first serve basis. This works well if you plan to leave your car in one spot. If you plan to use it at 2 A.M., it will be difficult to find a spot. You can also valet park at the nearby hotels for between $30-$45 per day. There are free trolleys between north beach, mid beach and south beach, and you can also get around easily with Uber.

BUS FROM AIRPORT: MIAMI BEACH AIRPORT FLYER WWW.MIAMIDADE.GOV/TRANSIT
$2.35; Goes every half hour from 5:45 a.m. to 11:40 p. m., seven days a week. Stops 1-2 blocks from condo
